Speech Synthesizer 5.0 by Caltrox Educational Software is a great program for converting a text into speech. Developers defined its main purpose as helping children to learn English vocabulary. This software gives the possibility to convert whole text documents into speech. It supports RTF, TXT and Word formats. To complete such task just select text document you want to convert and press button “Play”. If you need to convert only some words or phrases you can input them into the special text field. You can edit a text into the text field by defining size, color, style of font. Speech Synthesizer 5.0 has a range of different voices for text converting. Voice’s speed and tone also can be adjusted. The program doesn’t have a lot of features for its appearance customizing, but you can choose a color for the text field. If you need to save any text as audio file in WAV format this program’s special record function would be also useful for you. Speech Synthesizer 5.0 doesn’t need a lot of system resources and can be used on any of the following Windows based Operating Systems: Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. |
